For Macao educational or research institute to join eduroam, the following are the highlight for the system requirements for joining:
- One dedicated broadcast SSID named “eduroam”.
- Back-end central user authentication system is required.
- 7×24 Internet connection with fixed valid IP address for roaming authentication.
